The History Behind Pataudi Palace

The estate is therefore associated with both the family’s heritage and Saif’s efforts to restore its place as a family property.
Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s Grave at the Palace
Another notable feature of the estate is its family burial area. The grounds include the graves of members of the Pataudi family, including Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the former Indian cricket captain popularly known as Tiger Pataudi.
The burial site adds a personal and historical dimension to the property. For the family, the palace is not only a grand residence but also a place connected with memories of previous generations.
A Popular Location for Film Shoots
Pataudi Palace has also been used as a filming location for Hindi movies. Its grand rooms, lawns and traditional architecture make it suitable for scenes requiring a historic mansion or royal setting.
The palace continues to attract public interest because it brings together Bollywood celebrity culture, architectural heritage and the story of a prominent Indian family.
