Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, bringing major upgrades to cameras, performance, battery life and artificial intelligence. The iPhone 18 Pro India Price starts at ₹1,64,900, while the larger Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900. The smartphones were introduced alongside Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo.

Both iPhone 18 Pro models will be available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage configurations. Buyers can choose from black, silver, glacier and a new burgundy finish.
Pre-orders in India open at 5:30 PM IST on September 12, while sales begin September 18.
A20 Pro chip and major camera upgrade
Apple has equipped both phones with its new A20 Pro chip and a next-generation vapor chamber designed to improve sustained performance.
One of the biggest upgrades is the 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, allowing users greater control over depth of field and photography in different lighting conditions. Apple describes it as its most advanced iPhone camera system yet.
The devices also feature a smaller Dynamic Island and ship with iOS 27, bringing Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI experience. Siri AI is designed to use personal context, onscreen awareness and information across supported apps to provide more relevant assistance.
Battery life has also received attention, with Apple claiming up to 43 hours of video playback on the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
With a premium starting price and substantial camera, AI and performance upgrades, the iPhone 18 Pro India Price positions Apple’s latest Pro lineup firmly at the high end of the Indian smartphone market.
