Article 370 Dominates the Awards
Political thriller Article 370 emerged as the biggest winner of the event. The film won the Best Feature Film award. Its lead actress Yami Gautam also received her first National Award for Best Actress. Her performance was praised for its emotional depth and powerful screen presence.
Kartik Aaryan and Mammootty Share Best Actor Award
The Best Actor award was shared by Kartik Aaryan for Chandu Champion and Mammootty for Bramayugam. Both actors received praise for delivering memorable performances in very different roles. Their joint victory became one of the highlights of the ceremony.
Other Major Winner
Director Rajkumar Periasamy won the Best Director award for Amaran. Films such as Kalki 2898 AD, Captain Miller, and Srikanth also received recognition in different categories, reflecting the diversity of Indian cinema this year.
