Movement Will Continue
The student-led protest in Delhi is not ending. However, organisers have changed their approach after violent clashes with police.
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which is leading the movement, said it will not organise another march to Parliament for now. Instead, it plans to hold peaceful sit-ins, public meetings and awareness campaigns.
The group says its goal remains the same. It wants action over repeated examination paper leaks and reforms in the recruitment system.
Nearly 180 People Injured
Thousands of students gathered in central Delhi to demand education reforms. Many tried to march towards Parliament.
Police stopped them with barricades. Tensions quickly rose. Tear gas and baton charges followed in some areas.
The confrontation left around 178 people injured. The injured included both protesters and police personnel. Several people also received medical treatment after the violence.
Police detained dozens of demonstrators during the operation. Security remains tight around Parliament and other sensitive areas.
Organisers Avoid Another Parliament March
After the clashes, protest leaders reviewed their strategy.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said the group does not want more students to get hurt. He said the movement will continue, but without another Parliament march at this stage.
Instead, the organisation plans to continue its campaign through peaceful protests across different locations.
The organisers say changing the format does not mean ending the movement.
